Privacy Policy

PocketArt · Last updated 28 August 2026

PocketArt is a painting-collecting game. It has no accounts, no sign-in, and no server that stores anything about you. This policy explains the little that does leave your device.

The short version. Your collection stays on your iPhone. The app does not use the camera, the photo library, your location, or your contacts. It never asks for your name or email.

What stays on your device

Everything you collect — which paintings you have unwrapped, when, your level and progress, and your quiz results — is stored locally on your iPhone and is never uploaded. Deleting the app deletes it.

Anonymous usage analytics

The app records anonymous product events through PostHog so we can see which parts of the game people use and where they get stuck. Events are things like a painting was revealed, the quiz was finished, or the paywall was shown.

Subscriptions

PocketArt+ is sold through Apple's In-App Purchase, and subscription status is managed with RevenueCat. Payment is handled entirely by Apple — we never see your card details, billing address, or Apple Account. RevenueCat assigns the installation an anonymous identifier so it can tell whether a subscription is active.

You can view or cancel a subscription at any time in your Apple Account settings.

Painting images and text

The paintings, artist information and audio in the app ship inside the app itself. Browsing them sends no request anywhere, and we do not know which paintings you look at beyond the anonymous event counts described above.

Children

PocketArt is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date at the top.
